On 1 April 2026, Ankur, in collaboration with TPNODL (TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited), successfully implemented a solar panel installation project benefiting around 20 families in Kurunia and Brahmanchhada villages under Remuna Block, Balasore district, Odisha. The initiative was undertaken as part of Ankur’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life in rural communities.
Access to reliable electricity remains a challenge for many rural households. To address this need, the project focused on providing clean and renewable solar energy solutions that can support daily household activities while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.
The solar panel systems were installed across selected households after assessing local requirements and identifying families that would benefit most from the initiative.
